Howdy!

I'm Devyn Darmstetter. Believe it or not, before joining ABC7 in January 2024, I wasn't a morning person! I'm actually naturally a night owl.

My news career began in September 2022 at another tv station in town.

Before diving into journalism, I was a Communication Major with a Minor in Leadership at Texas A&M University, class of 2022! Whoop!

During my time in Aggieland, it never even crossed my mind to pursue a career in news, but my major taught me a lot about interacting with others and getting through to people—two things that I love about my job in the news!

Right before graduation, I moved to Amarillo to be with my now fiancé.

In my free time, I am planning my wedding coming later in the year, spending time with my fiancé, two cats, and German Shepherd, going to the gym, skiing, golfing, hiking, and discovering the best places to eat in Amarillo!
