I'm the longest serving Sports Anchor in Amarillo, having worked in market for nearly 35 years.

I was born and raised in Indiana. After high school, I served four years in the Navy and I'm a Vietnam veteran. After my stint in the Navy, I attended Indiana University.

Following college, I worked as a representative for a chemical company and a shirt company. I was required to do a lot of traveling in this capacity and was based in Iowa and then California.

I've been working in broadcast since 1980. I got my start in radio, and worked my way into television. I joined KFDA-TV in September of 1983 and then came to ABC 7 Amarillo in March of 1988.
